After building the cattle panel barn, it was time to devise a rabbit holding system. Without these rabbit racks, we can only hold 14 cages. With it, we can hold 28. Naturally, we want more bang for our buck.

Using 3/4″ pvc, we built racks to hold the 48″ x 30″ Bass cages. There are a total of 4 cages that fit in each rack. Below the top rabbits, there is a plastic tray for catching waste. These are cleaned every other day.

The racks make doing rabbit chores and observations much easier. We have six rabbits due this weekend, so hopefully this works. Our temp is also going to drop, so we will put the back wall on today.
