It is no secret that I happen to love ducks (and can legally sell them as food in NC). My Khaki Campbell ducks lay better than any chicken!
But the jerks like to hide their eggs. They aren’t known for being able to hatch them out themselves. However, I am deciding to let one try! She has been on the nest, keeping it warm for over a week now! She gathered hay to build the nest, and buries the eggs when she walks away to get food.
She is well hidden behind the rabbit cages! A safe, out of the way place! Hopefully her instincts kick in.
