Well, I am an idiot! Because the temperatures in the incubator was a bit high, I went to put the incubator on lockdown, and a bunch of eggs had already pipped.
So, I did cardinal sin #1, and opened the incubator. Mostly because I was unaware how many eggs were already ready. How many half unzipped eggs there were and eggs with pip holes. So, effectively I shrink wrapped the birds so they can’t get out.
So, I dissected 10 eggs, 8 were fully developed. It is only day 19, but I got some bobwhite eggs that need to go into the incubator, and I will try again.
