Camp owns 8 Ipads for use in technology education. I was tasked with coming up with engaging activities. We are doing citizen science combined with a fungus hunt! With all of the recent rains, there are some amazing specimens of fungi. I am, by no means, a mycologist, I am a soil scientist. However, I can appreciate the beauty of the mushrooms and fungi that eat decomposing plants and create new soils.

Today, we took 2-3 graders on a IPad Nature Hike. We learned about what decomposers do, and what the flowering parts and gills function as.
