I came across a site on how to grow 100 lbs of potatoes in a small amount of square footage. So, I got some 2x2s and 1x6s, and some red and gold seed potatoes.

First, I built the frame (33″ tall, 22″ deep, and 24″ wide). Then I filled it with decomposted horse manure 2″ deep.

Then I added my seed potatoes, and cover them up with 4″ of soil. Then we wait… For the vines to get 12″ long.
