So, I found adult, egg laying quail for $3 per bird. So I got 14 quail. 7 Texas A&M quail (5 females, 2 males), and seven of the Pharaoh quail (with speckles), another 5 females and 2 males.

Usually, I keep the quails in cages into their own cages. However, this time, I decided to place the quail under the rabbits.

These 7 quail scratch around under the fallen hay, eating poops and worms. They enjoy burying under the hay, pecking, and eating to their hearts content. I have never seen quail so happy.

It is going to make egg collection pretty brutal… But, maybe they will hatch their own!!!
