The Crazy Realities of Food Production

We are on the verge of starting a new citizen science program in Agronomy with the Girl Scouts. It will focus on local food and poverty, and how agriculture is the key to providing solutions. This program focuses on sustainable agriculture, and the environmental tradeoffs between producing foods and environmental damage.  I am very excited about this.

However, the world walks a fine line. Produce too much, markets crash and they can’t get their money… but banks are hesitant to make loans.

This video focuses on just how difficult food complexities are.
