I had a hunch that Cassius was pregnant. I came home today with fresh zucchini and corn husks, and saw that she was much skinnier! I looked in the little house, and there were five new babies! Four of them were awake, upward, and walking around. They were still shaking a bit. All of them have an amazing tapestry of colors like their father Brutus.  She is my favorite colored guinea pig,  and she got knocked up the instant she was placed with a male! Oranges, whites, and blacks, with amazing speckles and colors. I was hoping her offspring would be the same color as she was (deep chestnut with a bit of orange on the cheeks).

This is Cassius (Cass), my new 1.68 lb girl.

This is Brutus, a 2.05 lb male guinea pig from Farmville.

I would take a picture, but I dropped my smartphone while doing labwork today, and broke the LCD screen. Ordered a replacement
