Today is the dawning of a new journey in our rabbitry. We are going to start a Rex rabbit breeding program, with the help of the Best Little Hare House in Hanover.  We wanted smooth, fancy pelts for blanket making and costumes. Enter the Rex.

She is a little over 7 weeks, so it will be 4 months before we can get kits from her. But, she is velvety soft! I am absolutely smitten with her right now!
