I have a repeat customer with an exceedingly large snake. So, he wanted one processed rabbit and four whole prey rabbits. Two weeks ago, I processed the first half of Magicians kits. So, it was now time to process the second half.

The average weight per rabbit was 4.06 lbs (minimum was 3 lb 13 oz, and maximum was 4 lb 4.3 oz).  This is a 0.5 lb average gain per rabbit compared to two weeks ago! I am actually pretty happy with that considering how blazingly hot it has been.

The one rabbit I dressed out had an efficiency of 54%. I am pretty happy with that!

So even though Magicians kits are slow to mature, they wind up dressing out well, and they don’t eat very much.
