So, every time that I go out to check on the males in the growout pen, I am always missing one… He is always running around the pens, trying to avoid me. It is mystifying how he gets out, as I see no evidence of climbing, and guinea pigs don’t jump.
He is in the shelter, with the hay. So, not too concerned about food (more about Cattle Dog, actually)… But, he needs to get his water from somewhere, here’s to hoping he gets enough. I keep caching him and putting him back, but he never seems to want to stay.
Guinea pigs do jump! It’s a common misconception that they can’t. One of mine one jumped out of his run which was knee high and landed on top of the covered run next to his!

I did put a lid on though. I have dogs, and even though they behave amazingly well, I don’t want to push the envelope
